Senior IT Help Desk Analyst

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior IT Help Desk Analyst with at least two years of experience in Information Technology, providing support for core platforms and strong deskside and application support skills.

The successful candidate will be part of the IT Operations team, responsible for assisting in the day-to-day support and operation of technology across the firm. The role will focus on advanced troubleshooting of issues escalated from the first-line help desk support team and contributing to the delivery of projects and technology initiatives aligned with the firm’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities include acting as a point of escalation within the IT help desk team, maintaining high-performance service support functions, conducting advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues, following escalation and change management processes, solving complex problems, planning, designing, documenting, and delivering IT initiatives and business systems projects, providing effective support for deskside operations and business applications, maintaining excellent working relationships with third-party vendors, maintaining and updating technical and instructional manual documentation, assisting with regular system patching, and interacting independently and meaningfully with customers.

The ideal candidate will have a methodical approach to problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with all IT teams and customers. Working knowledge of various technologies, understanding of the ITIL v4 framework.
